Senior School The Bridge Careers Service

By Mrs Whitlock (Head of The Bridge Careers Service)

On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome back Dame Alice Harpur School alumna, Georgia Lennox-Lamb (2008) to BGS. Georgia is a People Specialist in the Royal Air Force (RAF), and she delivered an informative and inspiring Lunchbox Lecture on her career to date, as well as the breadth of fulfilling professional opportunities within the RAF.

Fielding questions on how the armed forces can support a range of aspirations including Medicine, HR, Cyber Security, Project Management, and Space Operations, with ongoing CPD included and international travel for those who want, Georgia thoroughly dispelled any myths that the RAF is just about flying (although there’s that too!).

We look forward to hearing more from Georgia in the future, but in the meantime, students who were unable to attend the session can view the lecture on Planet eStream.
